FIPA-OS v2.2.0 Released!

We are pleased to announce that FIPA-OS v2.2.0 is now available for download.

FIPA-OS v2.2.0 is a documented release of the interim build available from here. New features include:

• FIPAOSFactory - a factory for factories
• Abstract Datamapping Architecture
• Configuration functionality added to the Wizard
• Various bug fixes

Future plans

• Improved Agent Management GUI.
• Generalise XML data-binding implementation
• Abstract knowledge base interface integrated at agent level with factory implementations to allow integration of different technologies for building and accessing knowledge bases.
• Decoupling of TaskManager and ConversationManager to enable more generic reuse of Task based development system.

Interim Builds of FIPAOS

Interim builds of FIPA-OS are available from here. FIPA-OS is built every 24 hours and incorporates the latest bug fixes and additions. It is supplied in order to make the bug fixes and additions available for use by the FIPA-OS community.

Installation instructions and links to the download area are available here. Advanced users may wish to bypass the installation instructions and obtain this release directly from our download area.
